I’ve had dealings with about 6 different members of staff from Nintendo and all have told me conflicting things. I ordered a digital game on Pre order and it’s glitched so I’ve enquired about a refund and they’ve point blank refused claiming their terms and conditions don’t allow for refunds of digital games (Insane). After arguing for about 2 days with them they agreed to a refund however they then said I need to send back the FREE items that came included in my order for me to get a refund... after saying I don’t have the items anymore they’ve once again refused to issue a refund! So they’re letting me lose out on getting £50 back due to some free items that they sent out of choice and was not something I asked for! Disgusting service, rude staff and stupid policies. Will never purchase from Nintendo directly again.

I sent back the console and the two JCs for a booked repair. Unfortunately, after they repaired it they sent back only the console and one JC saying that the other one never arrived. I complained saying that I did send two, and they answered with a video showing the guy unpacking my parcel. I can clearly see in their video both JCs wrapped as for their instructions and the guy finding one and pushing the other one away with the rest of the wrapping as it was rubbish. He didn't even bother looking for the other JC which was in the list of the items booked for repairs! After a long back and forth I asked to have a name and address to log a formal complaint. They answered that they already dealt with my complaint, so that was it.I spoke to Citizens' Advice about my legal rights. They told me Nintendo is in breach of contract. I am not letting this go and I will pursue this matter to ombudsman or similar.Worst customer experience ever!!!

Sent my Nintendo switch back to be repaired as it would not charge got told it will cost £148 to repair it as its not covered by the warranty yet its only 3 months old.The worst service I have ever received for such a big company the service they provide is disgusting I will never buy a Nintendo product again and would definitely advise any body to stay well clear of they products

Has to be THE worst of all console sellers!!! I have had to send back the switch 4 times now in 2years and the repair price just goes up and up!!!There’s always some sort of problem with the device, this time it’s cheaper to buy a new one (which I will NOT) be doing as I would ever purchase another Nintendo console ever again. Such a shame as the games are loved by may children and adults. They have no loyalty policy either, oh well bye, bye Nintendo.....hello Play Station.

I deleted my account mistakenly, thinking it was just my online account. Nintendo did not respond for months and then refused to do anything. They refused a refund even though I sent receipts and wouldn't even give a proper apology. I have lost £100s. I have read other reviews with similar stories, they do not care about their customers and are happy to lose them and hoard their money. Please don't buy from this company. The customer service were quite petty in their response. Many times they had said "we're sorry you feel like this". When I pointed out how long it had taken to respond and that this was not a proper apology they responded "we did apologize". This is incredibly unprofessional and rude. I have attached this below.

My daughter ordered a switch without my knowledge an hour ago. Tried to cancel the order and they won’t let me cancel it because within an hour it has apparently already shipped (with standard shipping and an estimated delivery a week from now). The link on their website to a returns policy takes me to an error page. Can’t find the returns policy online anywhere. All I could find was Canadian returns policy — apparently you have to send them back the device, unopened, with a letter containing lots of useless information and why you decided to return it. And to top it off they won’t even refund you the cost of shipping. Awful.

Excellent company. They have fixed my son’s Switch more than once. First class service each time.

I sent two joy-cons for repair more than a month ago. I understand they are very busy and didn't mind to wait a few weeks. The problems starts when they sent them back and the courier lost my parcel delivering it to the wrong address. I was assured that the repair team is trying to resolve my case. No update after two weeks and they stopped responding to my emails. I'm disappointed with the costumer support level of service. I am very surprised by the attitude of such a large company like Nintendo. One of the most expensive consoles with the worst quality and customer support.

I just got off the phone with nintedndo and I was talking to a guy named Kevin, absolutely amazing / helpful. If this man doesn’t get a raise I swear something is wrong with the entire company. I love you Kevin

Order number 259754910, complaint in regards to Nintendo, Hermes, The Hutgroup. same as everyone else, I ordered a Switch bundle, and yesterday just the case and game arrived with no console even though it was instock when I ordered and now I'm waiting to hear a response by email, there was a delay in the dispatch but when it eventually updated and they took my money I assumed it would arrive complete, complete like they were quick to update the order as such like they did a good job!!??, I knew something was off as soon as I felt the parcel as it was light but figured it was a different delivery or the switch was coming with a different delivery, now I can't contact hermes, nintendo or the hut group directly as its all through email, just honest and straight forward information of when it would be here would ease tensions a little but they don't seem to give a ish and are happy to steal your money and make it impossible to chase up, I'll be on there case until I get my switch or money back, but this kind of behavior is the last thing you need at this time of year, if they can't fulfill the order, don't take the money its a simple as that! Order elsewhere as Nintendo obviously have no morals and are very incompetent.

I'm the same as everyone else on here complaining. I would give zero stars if I could. Ordered switch bundle on 26/11 with dispatch date within 48hrs. After numerous emails chasing delivery we finally received a box via royal mail yesterday but the console was missing and there was no delivery note. Please everyone check the weight on the box that you receive as proof that the console was never shipped. Our box was 4g and a console weighs 304g so that is proof that it was never shipped in the first place. Customer service are now trying to say that we have signed for the delivery and the order is complete. I have emailed them with the facts and I'm awaiting a response. In the meantime I'm contacting paypal and trading standards as they are obviously taking money for orders they cannot complete. They are connected to The Hut Group who I will also be naming and shaming!! Absolute disgrace. Shame on Nintendo and The Hut Group for ruining my sons Christmas!!

Hi, if anyone can help I would be most grateful.I too bought a Nintendo Switch package this Black Friday! Getting more and more concerned as I’ve not yet received it, I sent a message via their page yesterday night, to chase the bundle I’ve bought from them for my son this Christmas. No Live chat available all day! Nor today!Meanwhile their site states “order dispatched, no orders pending” and they have taken the amount due?The ‘courier’ company they have appointed ‘Hermes’ states “the package is at the recipients local depot?” Not stating where that is obviously! So sadly no option of being able to collect it! (You can hope!) And Im only able to speak to is an automated service to gain any further clarity, not a human being!This morning I managed to speak with Nintendo after calling them straight off the back of when they opened at 9am!(Having made no progress yesterday after being on hold for an hour and having to cut the call in the end, due to having to start work!)On managing today to speak with a human, the young girl I spoke to said was she would pass my concerns on and to Nintendo’s ‘courier department’ by email, in the “hope” they would get back to me!? And insinuated the parcel had in fact not even left their warehouse?? I am now massively concerned and consciously trying to hold it together, just hoping my son gets his Switch!The term hope/hopefully being used by the young woman spoken to today not really filling me with any confidence! Not on a count down to Christmas or anything, I imparted my concerns around the awful reviews I have since read after purchasing with them and asked that I have a return call from this young lady’s manager to raise a complaint in the mean time, apparently she will again pass this on by email again - as she is remotely working!I am totally distraught, unbearably upset and just won’t be able to find that money again before Christmas to replace my sons present so to avoid an extremely disappointed little man! Absolutely overwhelmed!After the year everyone has had! I have no words!

Oh how I wish I had read these reviews before parting with my hard earned £400. Nintendo did dispatch the parcel promptly but unfortunately entrusted it to the band of charlatans, also known as Hermes. Anyway no delivery, no communication now (they said they tried to deliver twice and I was out, all lies I was at home working). Anyway trying to get a response from Nintendo as to what they intend to do is like pulling teeth, I have emailed them four times asking specific questions only to get a cut and pasted generic message. They are supposed to be working remotely, not much work going on - they no longer have a telephone line. Off to my credit card company to see if they can make them dig deep and find some semblance of customer service!!
